- Make sure that there is no active IO on the system
- Run the XMCLI command show-clusters to confirm your cluster name
- Issue show-targets-performance cluster-id=XX to confirm no active IO requests
- At this stage we can stop the cluster service using the stop-cluster command
- Now we can power off the hardware with the power-off command
